As Chantel has a passion for learning and promoting learning she has now become an RCN learning representative, where she will enable RCN members to meet their continuing professional development requirements for safe and effective nursing practice.
Chantel is an RGN with over 12 years’ experience of caring for patients, both in hospital and in their own homes.
With experience as a Clinical Lead, Registered Manager and Nominated Individual; all roles she was required to supervise the management of the regulated activity provided, she was responsible for clients being cared for in their own homes aided by a team of Registered Nurses and healthcare support workers, for both adults and children. She was responsible for the overall care and appropriate referral to agencies and would then act as co-ordinator and facilitator as required, but remained accountable for professional nursing care provided.
In addition, Chantel has experience of caring for acutely ill, chronically ill and terminally ill people, including palliative care patients within nursing hospital and home settings.
Chantel has specialist interests in complex clinical care to include brain and spinal injury and all community nursing issues. She also has experience of working within an intensive care unit, stabilising patients with severe injuries, prior to them being transferred to longer term rehabilitation units with the aim of them returning to live within their own homes with family members or supported by a specially recruited care team.
Chantel acts as Nursing Consultant and adviser to case managers and domiciliary care agencies and for whom she delivers all aspects of clinical support. She develops clinical protocols and guidelines for care and management of clients, both adult and children, with a wide range of conditions, including complex care needs.
Chantel also provides clinical training to case management companies, complex care agencies and via local commissioners for clients in receipt of a personal health budget.

Marie qualified as a nurse in 2003 and worked in a variety of NHS settings where she gained skills working with both adults and children with additional needs, particularly children with neurological impairment and complex clinical needs.
Marie has wide experience of leading teams in the community, whilst meeting both Ofsted and CQC regulations. In previous roles, Marie was responsible for the overall care and appropriate referral to agencies and would then act as co-ordinator and facilitator as required, whilst remaining accountable for professional nursing care provided.
Marie has specialist interests in neurological impairment and behaviours that challenge.
In her role for Orchard Brooks Healthcare, Marie acts as nursing consultant and a clinical trainer to clients in the community. She supports with assessments, implementing care plans with clinical procedures and undertakes and implements both environmental and clinical risk assessments. Marie also provides clinical training and competencies to healthcare professionals.
In her free time, Marie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practising yoga, cooking, exploring new places and going on coastal walks with her husband and dog, Leo.

Andrew Reeve joins Orchard Brooks Healthcare as a Clinical Trainer. Andrew is a registered nurse, with extensive experience of working in a critical care setting, as well as holding senior management positions both clinically and operationally.
As a Critical Care trained nurse, Andrew’s passion is to ensure patients receive the utmost care and attention following extensive injury, surgery and life-threatening illness, and applies the same principles to providing homecare to clients. Since leaving the NHS in December 2019, Andrew has taken the opportunity to work within the community, providing homecare to clients who have complex needs (including spinal injuries).
Outside of work Andrew enjoys long walks and more challenging activities at the local gym.

Sue qualified as a nurse in 2002 and has worked in a variety of NHS settings. Sue’s clinical experience is predominately in oncology, haematology and palliative care. She previously worked as Lead Cancer Nurse at Peterborough City Hospital, and as a clinical nurse specialist in palliative care and acute oncology. Her previous experience of providing chemotherapy administration and caring for patients going through cancer treatments gave her the basis of oncology nursing.
Having retired from Norfolk Hospice in December 2020, where she worked as a Nurse Consultant, Sue took a role at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, leading the Specialist Palliative Care Hospital Team to improve their CQC measures; which involved audit, education and training; and inclusion of the wider health community through strategic meetings.
One of Sue’s passions is to share knowledge and experience to others.
For the past year, whilst working remotely, Sue has been travelling around Europe with her husband.
In her role for Orchard Brooks Healthcare, Sue acts as a clinical trainer to clients in the community. Sue also provides clinical training and competencies to healthcare professionals.

Steph is an experienced Registered General Nurse and has developed an extensive skill set within clinical care to support clients living with complex healthcare needs; epilepsy, diabetes, spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury to name a few with a specific interest in airway management including tracheostomy and home ventilation. She provides training and competency assessments within a wide range of these clinical skills to ensure support workers and care givers are confident, safe and effective in their care delivery.
Steph has vast experience of working within the NHS and more recently in the private health sector.
Steph previously worked in Cardiology and Neonatal wards as well as supporting adults and children with complex needs in the community. Her role as Nurse Assessor involved ensuring care teams and support staff maintain high clinical standards, following guidance from clinical governance and adhering to required regulations.
In her spare time, Steph enjoys DIY and interior design with her partner and spending time with her sons walking and travelling.

Stuart has over 28 years of nursing experience working in paediatrics, surgical, medical wards and a regional oncology unit. He also worked within a Children’s Community Nursing Team where he held a case- load of patients supporting children in the community with complex needs.
After leaving the NHS in 2007, Stuart has worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager for a private care provision company and an independent specialist Clinical Trainer and Case Manager.
He has extensive experience of supporting and developing bespoke care packages within the complex care spectrum and providing clinical competencies to all levels of staff training.
In his spare time, Stuart likes to read, go the gym, spend time with his family and enjoys watching sports.
